Case Overview

58-year-old female with a several year history of skin complaints she fears most are parasites. Described as threadlike protrusions that are obvious when she places a stone roller on the skin. Claims to also see track marks along the skin. Thinks they may be related to a trip she took to Mexico sometime ago. She has seen two other primary care and two other dermatologists. She has tried minocycline and Ivermectin both topical and systemic to no avail. She has no other systemic signs or symptoms. The lesions are non-pruritic or painful. On physical exam, I cannot find any of her specific complaints although I do see minor skin lesions. Patient points to specific areas of the skin.

Medical Examinations

• Diagnosis: Rosacea and some adult acne.
