Case Details
40-year-old woman with 6-month pruritic lesions on left lower limb (first on groin & thighs and then on anterior part of the leg). At the beginning lesions have "anetodermic" appearance, older lesions acquiring "vascular" characteristics (violet lesions). No other diseases, not taking medications. Labs (CBC, blood chemistry, and HIV = ok). Biopsy: superficial and middle dermis with vascular structures; the vessels of their walls formed by endothelial cells, containing numerous erythrocytes. In other parts: focal infiltrates consisting of lymphocytes, histiocytes, and plasma cells. The collagen bundles are thickened.
