Cedell Fracture or..?
Just wanted to post a follow up to this case.
I called the patient to follow up with her after she saw orthopedics.
She said the surgeon looked at her x-rays and said there was NO acute fracture identified. He said it was an old healed injury from childhood (which she doesn’t remember). He put her in a walking boot and sent her on her way.
She said now the pain is even worse since getting the boot.
I’m confused. This certainly looked to be an acute finding to me.
