Case Presentation
I present to you a 17 year old from a refugee camp with poor living conditions. He states that it started in Greece. He came from Pakistan and has tried an oral antibiotic as well as two topical creams, one cream helped but then he stopped it and it immediately came back. He is unsure of which cream it was. Topical Anti-fungal has been given for one and a half weeks with worsening condition. Patient states that the rash is itchy, it is not painful. The patient denies any nausea vomiting fevers or chills. Patient is also malnourished. No other past medical history. The final picture looks like there may be a secondary infection with the yellow crust but I don’t believe that is the underlying issue. Any thoughts?
