Axial T2-W (image 1) and post-contrast T1-W (image 2) MRI show a high-grade glioma of the right parietal lobe.
Gliomas are the most common brain tumors in pediatric patients. Most pediatric gliomas are low-grade and have excellent long-term survival. High-grade gliomas have a poor prognosis and include diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma, anaplastic astrocytoma and glioblastoma multiforme.
