I’m a student nurse and this patient presented to the ER for concerns for strep. She’s 23 y/o with no medical or surgical history. She said she had dysphagia and felt like she had a lump in her throat. We are waiting for labs to confirm strep. Has anyone seen a visible epiglottis during a strep exam?
