6 yr old male. Had all baby teeth on left side extracted in | Figure 1
6 yr old male. Had all baby teeth on left side extracted in Florida, then moved before the right side was extracted. only permanent teeth are mandibular central incisors. No 6 yr molars erupted yet. Ok, so I know they all need extracted, but isn't that a long time to go before his permanent teeth erupt? Will his permanent teeth be healthy? Is he just supposed to eat the best he can until his teeth come in? I go out with the hygienist to schools in rural counties and then the dentist goes back the following week to do exams and treatment. I haven't got to talk to the dentist yet, this pic was today and wanted to see what everyone says about this. Also, does anyone agree that this is neglect????

20yr male. I did same debridement/cleaning two yrs ago. Stressed the need to return for cleanings at least every 6months. Told him he needs to look in his own mouth between dental visits so he knows how it appears and the changes that may occur.
22YOM with severe periodontal disease. He admitted to doing every drug you could think of, except rx meds. Also admitted that he hasn't brushed his teeth in >year. Unfortunately, he is not compliant. I asked if he would start brushing and flossing after he's done with SRP, and he said "probably not". He is only doing this for his mom. 3rd picture is with an intraoral camera; calculus ~3mm thick.
