18 m/o with a crease in his arm. Noted by family at 17 mos. Mono-mono twin. After consulting many smart docs, the diagnosis that seems to fit is a partial amniotic band now visible due to his recent large growth spurt. Mom found a subtle indentation on his arm in a picture at three months old. u/s confirms likely diagnosis of partial amniotic band. Skin is partially tethered to the muscle fascia. He has no other symptoms. Arm is otherwise normal. How is this treated? Pubmed is clueless. I’ve called a ton of specialists.
