The patient was taken to IR for IVC filter removal. Figure 1: aortogram confirms strut within the aorta. Figure 2: No evidence of captured thrombus on venogram. Figure 3: Angled 7 Fr sheath (green) advanced through a 11 Fr sheath (orange), snare was advanced through the inner sheath and deployed just above the tip of IVC filter. Figure 4: Successful recapture of the embedded IVC filter without complications.
