Fracture through the neck of a femur
required removal and replacement of head (ball) of #Femur. The ligamentum teres (green) aka Round ligament of the femur, has to be cut in order to allow removal. We used a pressfit (no cement) stem and used the native acetabulum which was intact in this 67 year old female.
