7 year old male presents with increasing abdominal girth, vomiting, and diarrhea. No past medical history. Gets the "PICU package" (intubated, sedated, CVL, art line, and bilateral chest tubes). Diagnosed with extensive #Burkitt's-lymphoma. Ends up on CRRT for a week due to tumor lysis. He comes back to visit a few weeks later, and you wouldn't know he was fighting for his life just a few weeks before. Kids are amazingly resilient!
