Kaposiform lymphangiomatosis

Frontal chest radiograph (image 1) shows lobulated pleural thickening. Coronal STIR MRI (image 2) and CT images (images 3 and 4) reveal that this thickening is due to Kaposiform lymphangiomatosis. This condition is characterized by malformed lymphatic channels with lymphatic endothelial cells exhibiting a spindled morphology and often affects the lungs, mediastinum, skin, bone, and spleen.
