76 y/o male with severe PAD and venous stasis. Chronic tobacco abuse. Exposed Achilles' tendon. No bypass targets. Not a candidate for HBOT and did not tolerate a wound VAC. On IV antibiotics, local wound care with sharp debridement of necrotic tissue. Good example of palliative/hospice type wound care instead of a BKA.
