Surgery
A 32 year-old patient presented in ER with history of vomiting and abdominal distention for last 4 days. Patient had no history of pain killer intake nor steroid intake. On examination his abdomen was grossly distended with hyperresonance and tenderness. X-ray showed multiple air fluid levels consistent with mechanical obstruction. Exploratory laparotomy was done; a fibrous Meckel's band was discovered which was removed and gut decompression was done. Patient improved and was discharged after few days.
