Bladder (top) and uterus from a 69 yo with bladder cancer. She presented with gross hematuria and underwent a TURBT procedure (transurethral resection of bladder tumor), which showed invasion into the bladder muscle, thus the need for radical cystectomy and hysterectomy.

At resection, this was diagnosed as a papillary urothelial carcinoma. Bladder carcinoma is rare in children. The most common pediatric bladder neoplasm is rhabdomyosarcoma.
