Patient unaware of its presence so unable to give approximate duration. Note the surrounding sun damaged skin, asymmetry, irregular borders, colour variation.

This case refers to a 67-year-old female patient - see original case here. Referred to the dermatology service due to suspected melanoma. The diagnosis was confirmed, and the patient underwent surgery for tumor removal. Image 2 shows the post-surgical appearance.
