Case Description
6mo old with raised rash x1 day; assessed at mother/baby wellness check home care visit. No pustules. Tiny red, raised spots with larger splotches (most noted on arm). Rash is all over body and extremities except face. Received flu, dTap, PIV immunizations 1wk prior. Infant with noted cough and congestion, lungs CTA, throat WNL. Afebrile. No change in detergents, bath soap, etc. Ate pumpkin for the first time about 3 hours before rash was noticed. Histamine reaction? Strep?
