Case Description

~4200g fibroid. Received in a blue basin within a biohazard bag. Looking at the point of attachment near the bottom left, it looks like this is a subserosal fibroid and was likely "plucked" from the outside of the uterus. If this were an intramural fibroid (within the muscle [myometrium]), the uterus would likely have to come out with it.
