45 yo M s/p log splitter injury to dominant hand. This is effectively a crush injury with wide zone of injury despite clean appearance of wounds. Although patient was hopeful for replant, we could only offer revision amputation with full thickness skin grafts to IF and LF with tissue from distal amputated fingertips. RF was closed primarily.
