Patient 1
- Age: 48 yrs
- Gender: M
- Presentation: Admitted to ED with one day history of SOB, Fever on and off for 2 days, Dry cough for 2 days.
- Patient History: Initially hypoxic with arterial oxygen level of 72%, improved to 83% on 15 liters/minute.
Patient 2
- Age: 81 yrs
- Gender: M
- Presentation: Complained of a painful rash that began as blisters and turned hemorrhagic 2 days prior.
- Additional Findings: Low grade fever.
Patient 3
- Age: 54 yrs
- Gender: F
- Presentation: Intermittent fever and tachypnea for a month associated with anorexia and no pain.
- Imaging: Sonar showed hepatosplenomegaly, mild ascites; CT showed malignant renal cyst.
- Labs: Elevated bilirubin, ALT, GGT; normal alpha-feto protein; negative virology, positive Epstein Barr IgM and IgG.
- Past History: Cholecystectomy 20 years ago; no cardiac diseases, no HTN, no diabetes.
Patient 4
- Age: 34 yrs
- Presentation: Admitted with generalized body aches and a 3-day history of fever.
- Testing: Negative for COVID-19 but positive for dengue.
Patient 5
- Age: 52 yrs
- Presentation: Presented with chest pain radiating to the left shoulder and neck, associated with dyspnea and diaphoresis. Previous medical history includes hypertension, long-term smoking.
Patient 6
- Age: 28 yrs
- Presentation: 3-day history of intense pruritus over the lower back; cares for a kennel with rescued dogs.
Patient 7
- Age: 4 months
- Gender: M
- Presentation: Skin lesions localized to the chin for the past 3 days; revealed multiple small pustules with surrounding inflammatory signs.
Patient 8
- Age: Late teens
- Presentation: Presented after a collapse; no chest pain or relevant medical history; EKG features to warrant further work-up.
