Rash

40 YO M PMH T1DM and Crohn’s disease. Medications include insulin and remicaide every 6 weeks. Rash developed over 3 days and no change since onset per patient. Rash is asymptomatic and no systemic symptoms. No recent infections, antibiotics or other new medications. No topical treatment has been attempted.


Trending Cases

24 y/o f with rash(no itch) and nausea. No fever, no GI issues. Treated as allergic reaction with 50mg Benadryl and 4mg Zofran. At ED pt was given prednisone and epi. Pt discharged and rash was improving. Possible diagnosis at discharge was possible scombroid fish poisoning. Pt discharged and upon arrival to home, the rash reappeared in a different location on body however more severe. Pt was transported to hospital without treatment due to recency of medication administration. I have attached a photo of the urticaria. I almost looks like blotches of water paint. Any ideas on diagnosis and the rash? Not your typical rash. Any help would be appreciated.Read more

male 60 yrs old. No know medical problems, mentionned inguinal rash on PNC in the past. Treated for lower leg cellulitid on tazocin 1day, ceftriaxone 1 day and now on Cefazolin with apparance of this bilateral inguinal rash, non pruritic. No other rashes on skin no sign anaphylaxia. The patient is a 26-year-old female with no relevant medical history. Two weeks ago, she experienced diarrhea for five days, which was treated at home with symptomatic medication and furazolidone.
