Seven months after chemotherapy of #lung adenoma/squamous cell carcinoma. A 2cm round shadow was observed in left upper lung, blurry border and spikes, with no obvious size change in past 4 months. Shadow of Dots and small nodule also seen in both lung.

A 75-year-old, nonsmoking white woman was di- agnosed with stage IV lung adenocarcinoma. Based on an activating EGFR mutation, she was treated with EGFR tirosine kinase inhibitors.
After 20 months of treatment, dyspnea worsened, with evidence of increased right pleural effusion. A talc pleurodesis was performed and a pleural biopsy revealed the presence of both adenocarcinoma and small-cell-lung cancer (SCLC).
