Axial CT of the abdomen at the level of the gastric pylorus (arrowhead) shows marked thickening of the pylorus and duodenal bulb (arrow). At biopsy, this was confirmed to represent an inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor. Typically, pyloric and gastric thickening can be caused by ulcer disease, inflammatory bowel disease, or infection.
