25 yo female. Presents with chronic joint/muscle pain for 5 years off and on. Extremely hypermobile joints, Beighton score 6, wingspan longer than height, pinky finger and thumb overlap when wrapping around wrist. Chronic fatigue, IBS constipation, and skin bruises easily. Toes point inward when laying down on back. Rheumatologist states “cannot rule our Ehlers Danlos Syndrome.” Does this sound more like Marfan syndrome or EDS type 3 or something else? Patient doesn’t know what steps to take next but needs pain relief and a diagnosis to try to improve quality of life.
