Case Details

Finale, 21 years old, 7 days had a bite of tick And used neomicin. Contact dermatitis of neomicin. She is better with betametasone cream.

HOMECARE Case: 33 yo male, only significant pmh includes PTSD with associated anxiety and HSV 1. Area on midline back appeared 3 days ago, no hx of known bite and no puncture marks, no trauma/shearing, NKDA and no new products used. Area slightly tender first day, with some general malaise. No pruritis, drainage or growth of area over past 3 days. Almost perfectly circular, slight lighter area forming in center, area blanchable. Triamcinolone cream applied with no effects.

30 yo F: with no significant past medical history presents with a rash x 4 days. Rash is flat with ring appearance. Not pruritic or burning. Patient recently returned from a trip to the mountains but was not in the woods much. No evidence of tick bite. No other symptoms.

Classic Erythema Migrans: Tick bite 3 weeks prior.

Ecythma: from infected tick bites on posterior thighs.

A 52-year-old man: presented with a 20-minute history of chest pain radiating to the left shoulder and neck, associated with dyspnea and diaphoresis. He had a history of hypertension, long-term smoking, and a sedentary lifestyle.

A 28-year-old woman: presented with a 3-day history of intense pruritus over the lower back.

A 4-month-old male infant: presented with skin lesions localized to the chin for the past 3 days.

Patient in late teens: presenting after a collapse, no chest pain, no previous cardiac history, questioning whether there are any features in this ECG that would warrant further work-up.
