Lesion on right calf
The patient presented to the ER after a history of small wound on her right calf a month ago (image 1). She was prescribed 7 days of ceftriaxone but she noticed her leg was getting worse during treatment (images 2 and 3). She decided to go back to the ER a few days after finishing treatment with IV antibiotic and image 4 is her leg on presentation today.
Image 5 shows her leg after debridement.
