pt previously seen due to 5th metatarsal avulsion fracture that is not healing. Waiting for appointment with orthopod when she "stood up awkwardly" and felt her ankle pop. First photo is taken in my office, second is patient own. I am thinking Peroneal Tendinosis due to fluid visible. Orthopod won't be seeing her for another two weeks. Have recommended RICE for the time being as patient can't take anti-inflammatories. Agree with diagnosis and treatment?
