Possible Mitral Valve Prolapse
16 Year old female presents to ED with 24 hours of monitored heart rate above 130. The lowest it dropped was 64 and it came back up. She said she started feeling "flutters" earlier this year in her heart. ECG came back normal as did her chest X-ray. She's been referred to a Cardiologist at a bigger hospital. She mentioned being irritable and hotter lately. She also mentioned getting dizzy and short of breath from simply walking from room to room. Any other possible diagnoses? Her labs came back clean apart from a cholesterol level of 184.
