Anyone have experience/tx Pearls for Dariers? Patient's diagnosis was made decades ago. I have no pics but it's a 47 yo male who is flaring with erythrodermic-like erythema (& ichthyosis-like scale) on his ears, face, dorsal forearms, and has severe nail dystrophy (but barely phases him). I have him on oral prednisone and topical steroids. He has used tazarotene and retin A 0.1 ..and I know these are used in Dariers...but how could that possibly be helpful on such dry skin!? (when used in combination with topical steroid?) He tried isotretinoin in the past and it made him miserable. Biologics? Cyclosporine? Anyone see value in trying dupilumab, for symptoms? I'm especially curious to hear from international folks who do not have cost restraints limiting treatment options.
