Pt has peeling skin, rash has been present for over a year. No changes to lifestyle. Skin peels off and stays raw. Skin burns and is itchy constantly. Very uncomfortable. Hx of swelling. Full body is affected. They have been applying prednisone steroidal creams, antihistamines, and has tried light therapy. Has been given cortisone shots with some signs of relief. Has seen several dermatologists but has no definite answers to her conditions. Possible conditions include contact dermatitis and Pityriasis Rubra. Any possible ideas on what this might be?
