Due to number of images, this case will be divided in two parts. The patient is a 45 year old male, BMI 29 (mostly muscular built), who presented initially with chest pain (10/10) shortness of breath. He was ultimately diagnosed with acute myocardial infarction, stented then transferred to tertiary care for further management. He was managed in the tertiary care center as in patient for 48 hours then released to home. He was witnessed by spouse to seize then collapse in full cardiac arrest earlier the next morning after being sent home. The five (5) images are of the coronary artery and heart. In second part, the next images will be of muscle of heart, liver and special stain that will be named later. Question: what is the cause of death and describe the pathological changes. What specific recommendation would you make to the surviving spouse?
