Little League Shoulder

AP (image 1) and internal rotation (image 2) radiograph of the proximal humerus shows widening of the lateral aspect of the proximal humerus physis (arrow) consistent with Little League shoulder. Little League shoulder is an overuse injury of the proximal humerus and treated as a Salter-Harris type I equivalent injury. On radiograph, the typical finding is widening of the proximal humerus physis. Patients are typically treated with rest. Affected patients are usually adolescent overhand throwing athletes.
