Male patient in early 40s says he had a big meal last night, woke up early morning with lower abdominal pain, no nausea or vomiting, has history of 'twisted bowels' secondary to adhesions, booked for CT abdomen by surgeons, gas shows respiratory acidosis PCO2: 9, HCO3: 35, PH:7.33, Lactate:1, is the diagnosis clear or would you still need that CT?
