Why you should join Figure 1

Cases:

  1. Unilateral hyperpigmented macular rash in a 6 year old female. Non-pruritic. Evolved over 30 months, starting as a small patch near her panty line. PCP treated with topical steroids- no response. Not putting iPad on it anymore and rash still present.
  2. A six-year-old female with a two-week history of daily fevers presents with a linear macular rash. Her mother says the rash appears in areas where her daughter has scratched herself. It is most noticeable when she is febrile. Examination reveals swollen knee joints and lymphadenopathy.
  3. PT with multiple lumbar surgeries and back pain using a heating pad for a prolonged period of time presenting with reticular brown macular rash. DX is Erythema ab igne.
  4. Widespread non itchy macular rash over body in 30 year old man. No previous immunisations. No mucosa lesions or conjunctivitis. No new allergen exposures.
