Mesenteric angiogram demonstrates large SMA pseudoaneurysm (red arrow) with compression of the aorta (blue arrow) by adjacent hematoma. A catheter was positioned at the origin of the pseudoaneurysm for treatment (green arrow). Multiple detachable coils were placed within the pseudoaneurysm sac with Onyx® Liquid Embolic System used to create a cap along the coil mass (yellow arrow). The patient stabilized. Endovascular treatment of traumatic pseudoaneurysms offer a minimally invasive alternative to traditional surgical approaches.
