23-year-old female presents with 4cm lesion on medial aspect of left thigh, proximal. Denies pain but says there is some itching. Able to lift the 'islands' of skin without pain, bleeding, or discharge. The whitish area seen deep to the lesion is a new layer of skin. Referred to dermatologist who told patient that she suspected Hidradenitis Suppurativa. Do you agree? I have never seen a presentation like this.
