38yo male s/p ejection from MVC rollover with C6-C7 traumatic spondyloptosis. Applied Gardner-wells tongs with traction in ED and reduced. Op fixation a few hours later. Neuro function didn't return.
Sagittal CT of the cervical spine shows a distraction fracture of the C6 vertebral body. The arrow points to a sliver of bone from the inferior endplate of CT.
