AP image from an upper GI examination after feeding tube placement shows an atypical course of the feeding tube. The course is consistent with duodenum inversum. Duodenum inversum is an anatomic variation where the third portion of the duodenum travels to the right of the spine and superiorly before crossing to the left of the spine.
