61yof had bilateral hip relacements one year apart. 3 months later developed a “ripple” on several finger nails. Has had excema for years but this became aggravated at this same time. Doctors offered nothing ither than steroids, progressively more potent. Palms and soles cracking now. I measured an elevated TSH (my own lab ... used just for screening so will have to send away for T3 and T4). IgE normal. FBC normal now, slight neutrophylia after last procedure. ESR 3mm. CK elevated at 245.
