Age: 12 months
Sex: Female
Site: Right lobe of liver
Procedure: Resection
Clinical history: 12-month-old female with no significant past medical history who presented to referring hospital with a 2-3 week history of increased crankiness and increasing abdominal distention.

Gross description: On sectioning, a tan-white, lobulated, well-defined mass is identified measuring 8 x 8 x 6 cm. The mass border is within 0.1 cm of the resection margin and 0.1 cm from the capsule. The section surfaces reveal tan mass tissue admixed with dark red blood clots and harder cartilage-like components. No vascular invasion is grossly identified. The uninvolved parenchyma is tan-brown and smooth.
