39-year-old female comes to the office because of sudden onset of vesicular rash in her whole body (face, neck, chest, arms, armpits, abdomen, legs) with mild burning sensation. She’s not currently taking any medications. Can someone help with diagnosis?
29/F came in for consult due to pruritic rashes. Symptoms started 4 days prior as a flat, pruritic erythematous rash on her abdomen. She claims that the rash expanded in a span of a few days along with eruption of new rashes of similar morphology on the rest of her abdomen, back, nape, arms, and thighs. There was a history of an undocumented one-day fever days prior the appearance of the first rash. There were no joint pains, no intake of any medications or drugs. Relatives of close contact do not exhibit the rashes. She has no known allergies. On examination, rashes are maculopapular to patchy with occasional papulosquamous reaction. Any idea what could the diagnosis be? Was thinking of PR or Guttate Psioriasis.
