Cutaneous Candidiasis
30-year-old male patient, who was treated for psoriasis and miliaria rubra, however it was reevaluated by dermatology and diagnosed with Candidiasis Cutanea, treated with ketoconazole cream 2 times a day and itraconazole every 12 hours for 15 days. Photo shows patient after 3 days of treatment

Paciente de 30 años de edad masculino, que fue tratado como psoriasis y miliaria rubra, sin embargo se revaloro por dermatologia y se diagnostico candidiasis Cutanea, tratada con ketoconazol crema 2 veces al dia y con itraconazol cada 12 horas por 15 dias, en la foto el paciente lleva 3 dias de tratamiento

Se trata de paciente femenino de 25 años de edad que acude al hospital por presentar aproximadamente hace 15 días un cuadro de rash, prurito, y ligero dolor a la palpación (2/10).\
Niega antecedentes alérgicos, no recuerda si cuenta con esquema de vacunación completo.\
Actualmente sin antecedentes de importancia y sin uso de algún medicamento.\
A la exploración encontramos lesiones solo en el dorso, niega fiebre, cefalea u otro sintomatología.\
Refiere que su padre (60 años) , inicio con un cuadro parecido 3-4 semanas antes que ella, él inicio con consumo de Aciclovir (1 tab cada 12 horas por 3 días ) por su cuenta.\
Actualmente continúa con el rash y prurito.\

Se solicita laboratorios..\
Iniciamos tratamiento con:\
Itraconazol cap 100 MG (1 día x 30 día )\
Ketoconazol crema 2 veces al día\
Hidroxicina tab 10 MG (1 en la cena x 30 días)\
Me gustaría leer sus comentarios, si están de acuerdo con nuestro diagnóstico y tratamiento.\

A 45-year-old male patient presented with intense chest itching. A physical examination revealed lesions consistent with Pityriasis Versicolor. Treatment with ketoconazole shampoo and itraconazole 100 mg orally daily for 10 days was recommended.\
Paciente masculino de 45 años, acude por presentar prurito intenso, en el torax, por lo que se le realiza examen fisico encontrando lesiones compatibles con Pitriasis Versicolor, por lo que se le recomienda tratamiento de shampoo con ketoconazol e itraconazol 100mg via oral diario por 10 dias

51-year-old female patient, who presents with a sudden loss of consciousness, so she goes to the hospital unit, where blood and imaging studies are performed, finding infestation by toxoplasma gondi. with hospital treatment in the ICU, discharged with diagnoses of: PLWHA C3, cerebral toxoplasmosis, meningoencephalic syndrome, left proportionate pyramidal syndrome, oral candidiasis, normocytic normochromic anemia and pressure ulcer; with the following therapeutic scheme: trimethopin/sulfamethoxazole, prednisone, dolutegravir/lamivudine/tenofovir, melatonin, alprazolam, B12 complex, dressings every 12 hours with honey.

Paciente Femenina de 51 años de edad, la cual presenta de forma subita perdida de la conciencia por lo que acude a unidad hospitalaria, donde se le realizan estudios sanguineos y de imagen, encontrando infestacion por toxoplasma gondi. con tratamiento hospitalario en UCI, Se da de alta con diagnosticos de: PVVS C3, Toxoplasmosis cerebral , sindrome meningoencefalico, sindrome piramidal no desenso proporcionado izquierdo, candidiasis oral, anemia normocitica normocromica y ulcera por prsion; con el siguiente esquema terapéutico: trimetropin/sulfametoxazol, prednisona, dolutegravir/ lamivudina/ tenofovir, melatonina, alprazolam, complejo B12, curaciones cada 12 horas con miel.

Paciente de 30 años presento durante 2 semanas candidiosis cutanea mal tratada con corticoides topicos y locion de calamina mal diagnosticada como miliaria rubra, revalorada y tratada con itraconazol oral y ketoconazol en crema topica por 2 semanas, aqui muestra mejoria.
