Chest x-ray shows a portion of the colon herniating above the diaphragm anteriorly. Morgagni hernias are a rare type of diaphragmatic hernia. They are more common on the right side. Typically this hernia is repaired due to the potential risk of strangulation or bowel obstruction. #ThoraxThursday #HM15
