Beautiful slow/stable VT on one of my hospice patients admitted while in cardiac ICU. pt w/end stage CHF & recurrent VT. VT was controlled with lidocaine, but returned when lido off. Pt AAOx3 and chose to turn off AICD and d/c lido. 18 hours after lido d/c pt having frequent runs in 240s, but still AAO & comfortable

65yom AOx4 c/o "chest discomfort" and weakness X3 days. Called today when things didnt get better..hx: childhood valve replacement, Afib, CABGx3. Initially presenting w/ <30s runs but transitioned into full VT w/o additional complaint or loss of consciousness. One 150mg #Amiodarone slow bolus later Pt converted w/ no further ventricular ectopy.

Worst ascites I've seen. Tapping and getting 7+ liters off every two days. Pt eventually decided to be DNR, then AND.

indigent male, 5 months post frostbite with b/l circumferential ankle ulcerations positive for MRSA and pseudomonas, wet gangrene, OM, septic. Definitive treatment BKA-AKA b/l. Pt refused, 6-8 weeks IVabx D/C to SNF. Prognosis poor.

3 yr male, p/h/o DM, IHD-TVD advised CABG but on Medical Mx. Now with c/o chest discomfort. ECG showed VT, cardioverted. Subsequent ECG showed ischemic changes, taken up for CAG which showed patent vessels with no progression of vessel disease. Was put on heparin and planned early CABG. Post procedure ECG posted. Pt continued to have VT, inspite of starting amiodarone infusion.Dx? Further Mx?

A 52-year-old man presented with a 20-minute history of chest pain radiating to the left shoulder and neck, associated with dyspnea and diaphoresis. He had a history of hypertension, long-term smoking, and a sedentary lifestyle. On physical examination, bibasilar crackles were noted on lung auscultation. An electrocardiogram (ECG) was performed in the primary care setting, and the patient was promptly referred to the emergency department.

A 28-year-old woman presented with a 3-day history of intense pruritus over the lower back. She reported no recent travel or exposure to new environments. She cares for a small kennel with approximately eight dogs rescued from the streets. Physical examination revealed multiple small vesicles, some clustered and others scattered, predominantly involving the lumbar region and the left gluteal area.

A 4-month-old male infant presented with skin lesions localized to the chin for the past 3 days. Physical examination revealed multiple small pustules with surrounding inflammatory signs on the chin, along with a few scattered papules on the chest.

patient in late teens presenting after a collapse, no chest pain, no previous cardiac history, no history of sudden death in family, are there any features in this ekg that would warrant further work-up or is this just a pediatric ekg?
