13yom having been prescribed Ciprofloxacin for an URTI then a few days into the course developed these wheals on the lower legs. Nowhere else. No history to suggest contact dermatitis. Second picture is a thermal image which I took when noticing the red spots feeling quite warm.
Ciprofloxacin is NOT an ideal antibiotic in this scenario. His WBC's were elevated (3rd image) but also some liver enzymes were deranged (4th).
Dermal reactions are well known with this drug but I found it quite unusual to be limited to one body area, whilst symmetrical.](https://app.figure1.com/case-detail/2860ff20-da81-4155-8ba2-f58b55d5085a)

76yrs male in good general health. No other clinical symptoms than the rash on the stomach which started ca 3 weeks ago with small dots and gradually spread towards the centre. No itching or pain. Lab tests show slight anemia (new since 5months ago with hb 123), low crp. Varicella zoster? The long duration, anemia and lack of itch/pain doesn't seem right.
