This patient was shot in the neck at a downward angle. The bullet shattered first rib, contused left lung, and lac to R ventricle. A&O on arrival but coded in trauma bay due to tamponade. 1 ED thoracotomy and OR repair later and patient is stable and neurologically intact in ICU.
