Ear Culture Case

Patient: 23 year old female with ear pain for about 3 weeks. Culture shows Staphylococcus aureus infection.

Description

Two colony types here: big gray are Bacillus (environmental contaminant) and the smaller whiter ones are Staphylococcus aureus, coagulase positive. Pretty significant infection as you can see.
