Follow up from last weeks visit. Patient has had the stitches taken out of the front knee Friday and appears to be healing OK at the sites. The lateral knee seems to be swelling some and this is the site where the knee ejected the infection the first time. The knee is slightly more warm than last visit. I assume the medial and lateral meniscus areas are the hot spots. The treating Dr is still talking about a possible knee replacement due to the infection destroying the cartilage. The right shoulder pain is better and he states no more pain since last visit. Follow up end of week.
