83 year old with a one week old rash. Was only concerned about the upper arm rash in photo 1. He was surprised when I asked where else it was, as he hadn’t noticed it on his forearm. He had noticed it on his hand, but thought he had probably “gotten into something.” Zero pain. What percentage of shingles has zero pain?

81yo man presented with constant left sided abdominal pain. He was tender in the left loin with no masses palpable. Urinalysis and routine bloods were normal so a CT was ordered, which was also unremarkable and excluded diverticulosis. 3 days later he noticed a vesicular rash over his left lower back. PCR was positive for herpes zoster. Interestingly, he had received his first Shingrix vaccination 1 month previously. - surely not a coincidence?](https://app.figure1.com/case-detail/33902202-7646-40f9-bfdf-b54172daf896)
