52 year old white male with sudden central visual loss OD. History of hypertension and #Hypercholesterolemia. Vision 20/400 right eye, 20/40 left eye. Negative APD and visual fields full and normal. What type of central #Retinal-vein-occlusion is seen here and what would be a reasonable plan of treatment for this patient?

what a great end to a day's work. Northern European man in in early 50s. Booked a routine exam by request of his wife, said he got a shadow in his left eye abouth a month ago. It folows his gaze in the lower part of his visual field. Keeps growing and changing shape. He did not really think much of it.
Obvious superior temporal amotio retinae.
BCVA of 0.8 on left eye. Right eye normal.
Emergency refferal and rushed to eye hospital as there still is a chance of saving the macula.
